SPD Avoider
Resource Catalog
These resources are helpful for those interested in understanding how sensory seeking and sensory avoiding SPD manifest together and separately. There are also several resources focused on support strategies for children with sensory avoiding SPD.
These resources were developed through the lens of how practitioners (typically occupational therapists) currently diagnose sensory processing disorder. However, it should be noted that SPD is not currently recognized as a standalone diagnosis in the DSM 5-TR.
