Why everyone is not "a little autistic"
Everyone is not "a little" autistic
Everyone is not "a little" ADHD
Everyone is not "a little" OCD
To be diagnosed with these conditions, a person must be meaningfully impaired by them.
In other words, the conditions must prevent them from doing critical life activities.
If these meaningful impairments didn't exist, the conditions would not have been defined in the first place because there would be no behavior pattern to define.
It would just be "normal" human behavior.
Saying "Everyone is a little [insert condition]" is the same as saying everyone is "a little" meaningfully impaired.
Which is impossible.
Either a person can't do important life activities without support, or they can.
And if a person can... by definition (according to how these conditions are diagnosed)... they do not have any of these conditions.
I hope this helps.
